She was created in 1992 and is a beautiful 15" doll that stands 17" tall with her head dress.
She is designed in the Great Gatsby Flapper Style,
(resembles the I cart Figurine ladies),
with a beautiful silver toned, patterned, Flapper dress with a low waistline, embellished with beads and faux pearls. The skirt is designed in panels of patterned silver mixed with fine accordion pleats of dark grey. The back of her skirt falls into a wonderful accordion pleated long train. Underneath the open style of the bodice is a fuchsia pink under-dress that is form fitting to show off her fabulous figure. Her
Strands of faux pearls trim the sash of her low waistline, and she wears a long flapper style strand of pearls around her neck. She has a beautiful, almost Louis I cart style face, with the perfect feminine features, painted-on blown eyes and ruby red lips. PRINCESS OF THE CHRISTMAS COURT
This a Franklin mint doll of is unknown never seen in any catalogue unless she may be one of the last few dolls
left and released is after 2004
I can only describe what I see in the images I found

She is a Original Design
and Limited Edition to only 750 worldwide
Crafted fine bisque Porcelain with delicately hand-painted with child like features
She has green glass inset eyes with shoulder length wavy light brunette hair
she wears a metallic gold crinkle lame gown with a gold embroidered red bodice
adorned with crystal beads and gold lace
her gown is overlaid with a Christmas printed dark green robe trimmed with
metallic gold braid and decorated with hand sewn crystal snowflakes
she is completed with a charm bracelet and tiara pictured on right hand and head.
and a snow flake ornament which hangs from her wrist
She Stands on a wooden base and is Approximately 17.5" Tall.

DeleteI have 24 dolls still in the original boxes and have never been removed with accessories. My Aunt left them to me and do not know what to do with them.

ReplyDeleteHello I have just today found your blog and I wanted to comment on the Gilda Sweetheart of the Golden West Gilda FM doll. I have a Doll reader magazine of February 2000 and there is an article in there on pages 58, 59 and 60 titled Be Mine "artists and manufacturers present variations on a romantic theme". and this doll is pictured in that article page 59 with a little write up.
