Franklin Mint Gilda

Sweetheart Of The Golden West Saloon Girl Porcelain Doll

She is a very rare limited edition exclusive only to franklin mint 

year of release is unknown

She is sculpted of fine bisque porcelain and meticulously painted-by-hand. 

She has beautiful golden chestnut curls accented with roses 

She wears on her bodice a  white cotton chemise trimmed with lace, with

a fitted brocade corset trimmed with gold satin 

her is skirt lavishly accented at the back with fringe and a large bow.

 She wears black net stockings(has a tiny  last picture),a garter & hand-painted boots.

In her hand she holds a "gold" coin styled after the famous 1849 "double-eagle"

She also has her lucky playing card which is hard to find with this doll.

Gilda steps upon a beautiful velvet fringed ottoman

She Stands approx. 16" tall

Phantom of the Opera

Franklin mint Set of  Two Phantom of the Opera Heirloom Dolls
Featuring  Christine and the  Phantom 2002

Their costumes are meticulously detailed, fashioned after the actual costumes worn in the scene.
Their are both crafted in fine porcelain with exquisite features that are almost life-like
Christine has been crafted with almost a shocked look on her face
She is meticulously hand painted with georgeous brown eyes
she has the loveliest long  raven hair with spiral curls that adorn her face
 Phantom  also meticulously hand painted with large brown eyes and bushy eye brows
he is very fair in his complextion while the other side of his face is covered
with a white porcelian mask

 Christine

 Christine wears a white  dressing gown  of polyester Silky habutai with a luxuriously silky flow
with her neckline and 3/4 lenght sleeves adorned with several rows of lace
The gown has a stitch closing to keep the front of her gown in a flowing motion and is also tied
with a white ribbon around her waistline.
underneath she wears a camisole in dark red and green velvet trimmed with elaborate gold braiding
She wears knee length white matching pantaloons and her
shoes are molded-on white heeled pumps with a wonderful bow on the front of each
Christine is 14.5 inches tall.

The phantom
wears a black three piece linen tuxedo with long tails and vest with a elegant long black satin cape
 his cape is decorated around the neck with black glossy beads and is tied with black cord
 his shirt is trimmed with pearls and his cuffs on the coat is trimmed with black velvet
he is finished with a large gold ring in hand-painted gold and he molded-on black lace up boots
he is not complete with out his course half-face mask
The Phantom doll is 15.5 inches tall
 This set of dolls can be posed many ways
 The phantom behind Christine with his arms holding her waist,
or you can have them face one another.
The dolls are mounted on an oval black musical platform that is made by the officially POTO licensed company
 "The Really Useful Group Ltd." When you press in the beautiful gold button
(inscribed with the logo "The Phantom of the Opera", the beautiful 'Music of the Night'
song by Andrew Lloyd Webber plays, beautifully sung by Michael Crawford,
who played the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
 Both dolls depict the captivation scene from the actual sage performance.
Franklin Mint did a superb job of capturing the romance and haunting beauty of both characters
and this exquisite piece seems to even show the intense feelings between them.
the base requires 3 AA batteries
just placed 3 new  batteries in the voice base and pushed the button and it works beautifully
Overall Their height is about 18" Tall
The Platform is 9 inches across and 2 inches high

Susanne depicts the modern girl from the 1920's

She is created in fine bisque porcelain  meticulously hand painted
with a delicate fine featured  face with  hazel green eyes ,strawberry blonde hair
rosy cheeks mauve eye shadow
she wears a slender ivory satin gown delicately layered and wrapped around her body
her gown is trimmed with scroll designed white gimp trim decorated with white sequins
She is crowned with a gathered  head to floor length net lace veil decorated with 2
dainty bouquets of white satin roses highlighting both sides of her face
she is finished with painted on porcelain shoes
and carries a bouquet  satin ivory and white roses trimmed with ribbons

she is probably the same height between 15 to 17" Tall

This beautiful Flapper doll is truly VERY RARE
 She was created in 1992 and is a beautiful 15" doll that stands 17" tall with her head dress.
 She is designed in the Great Gatsby Flapper Style,
(resembles the I cart Figurine ladies),
 with a beautiful silver toned, patterned, Flapper dress with a low waistline, embellished with beads and faux pearls. The skirt is designed in panels of patterned silver mixed with fine accordion pleats of dark grey. The back of her skirt falls into a wonderful accordion pleated long train. Underneath the open style of the bodice is a fuchsia pink under-dress that is form fitting to show off her fabulous figure. Her
 Strands of faux pearls trim the sash of her low waistline, and she wears a long flapper style strand of pearls around her neck. She has a beautiful, almost Louis I cart style face, with the perfect feminine features, painted-on blown eyes and ruby red lips. She wears faux pearl drop earrings and has curly blond hair that frames her face. She has painted-on/moulded-on bangles both on her left upper arm and wrist. Her fabulous painted nails match her lipstick. She wears white lace trimmed, above the knee pantaloons and has on a beautiful pair of dark grey high heels are moulded and painted on.

 would not normally recently made doll 2003 under the rare listing
but this doll was the only doll made and now is very hard to find
there is another doll  recently made not seen before 2004 possibly 05 or later
also the only one ever made making her extreamly rare 
snow queen by broom

              This a Franklin mint doll of is unknown  never seen in any catalogue unless

                                                           she may be one of the last few dolls

her gown is overlaid with a Christmas printed dark green robe trimmed with

metallic gold braid and decorated with hand sewn crystal snowflakes

she is completed with a charm bracelet and tiara pictured on right hand and head.
