Franklin mint Doll Vienna waltz 1985

JOANNA 1985
  The Blue Danube Waltz  musical Doll
This doll is a recreation of the romantic Viennese waltz Era
which became fashionable in Vienna around the 1780 and was introduced in Sussex 1804
sculpted of fine bisque porcelain and meticulously hand painted beautiful big hazel eyes
and brunette hair decorated with pretty garden flowers of pinks and blues
She is Authentically costumed in the fashion of the 19th century Vienna
she  is wearing a full fan like skirt with layers of billowing folds of deep rose pink satin
her dress is off her shoulders and lavishly trimmed with ivory lace and decorated with
pretty garden flowers she has capped puffed sleeves daintily edged in ivory lace
 she has two rosettes and ribbons placed on each side of her dress
Underneath she wears lace trimmed petticoat and pantaloons

"The Emperor Waltz" musical Doll
Dressed for the Emperor's ball with happy anticipation.
She was sure her new gown would compare favourably with any other there,
 for it had been made in Paris by the exclusive House of Worth.
 Her hair had been fastened into a luxuriant knot on the top of her
head and her pretty face was aglow with excitement.
sculpted of fine bisque porcelain and meticulously painted-by-hand in natural colours
she has beautiful bright brown eyes with dark blonde hair
She is Authentically costumed in the fashion of the 19th century Vienna
her dress is a beautiful combination of both sage green and Antique white brocade
her sleeves are lavishly layered with lace with her shoulders trimmed with large bows
she has a golden tiara jewelled with pearls and carries a matching hand bag
her music box Plays "The Emperor Waltz" by Johann Strauss
just twist the key on her back and she plays
she stands 18"Tall

she wears a off the shoulder dress with a full skirt of rich black velvet
with a draped over skirt made of embroidered lace
her shoulders are wrapped in white taffeta edged and stripped with black velvet and
trimmed with lace her sleeves are trimmed in lace and sewn embroidered lace on the edge
beneath her gown she wears lace trimmed petticoat and pantaloons
Her dancing slippers painted porcelain  black with gold bows
around her neck is a jet black pendant suspended by strands of tiny black beads
she wears gold earrings and carries a delicate cotton hankie trimmed with lace
her music box Plays "Tales from the Vienna Woods " by Johann Strauss
just twist the key on her back and she plays
she stands 18" tall
